Welcome to the 2025 Forum des Jeunes Chercheurs (FJC) website! The aim of this annual scientific event is to enable doctoral students from the Environment-Health doctoral school of the University of Burgundy Franche-Comté (UBFC) to share their work and discuss their research topics, while developing collaborations with other participants. Every year, the Young Researchers Forum brings together nearly 300 doctoral students from the various UBFC laboratories. It offers them their first scientific experience in an environment similar to that of an international conference, while at the same time being designed as a time for sharing and caring. The aim is simple: to create a space conducive to the scientific development of tomorrow's researchers during their doctoral studies. The Forum des Jeunes Chercheurs is organised annually by UBFC's volunteer doctoral students, and alternates each year between the university's two main campuses, Dijon and Besançon. This 30th edition of the Forum des Jeunes Chercheurs will take place in Besançon on 5 and 6 June 2025. For two days, the FJC 2025 will feature presentations by doctoral students in the form of posters and oral communications, interspersed with lectures and round tables led by guest researchers. This event will be an excellent opportunity to meet, learn and practice. Each doctoral student is invited to present his or her research themes and results, taking care to make them sufficiently accessible to a multidisciplinary audience. The best presentations and posters will be rewarded! The topics covered are vast, ranging from genetics and botany to neurobiology, oncology, geology, climatology and many more. All themes are welcome for the 30th edition of this event. Register now, and join us in Besançon on 5 and 6 June 2025!

FAQs
🟨 Question:Can I submit an abstract for an oral presentation if I can only attend one of the two days?
🟩 Answer: Topics will be scheduled across both days of the forum, so we strongly recommend attending on both 5th and 6th June. That said, we will do our best to accommodate your availability when planning the presentation schedule.
🟨 Question: I don’t have many results yet. Can I still submit a poster or give an oral presentation? 🟩 Answer: Absolutely. You can focus your presentation on the theoretical framework, the literature review, and the methodology you plan to use. This allows you to highlight the scientific approach of your project, even if final results are not yet available.
